Scale a Kindom

A game for GMTK 2024 gamejam. 

Small strategy game where you have to construct the buildings and place your soldiers wisely on the grid to win.

RULES AND CONTROLS :

In each level, some soldiers will be given, and the goal is to first build towers, then form your soldiers correctly to damage the boss or heal your self.

•  Use W,A,S,D to control the soldier, note that all soldiers will be controlled at once, the towers will block the soldiers. If two soldiers run into each other, they will combine into one, so be careful.
• Press 1 to build the tower of defense, it can block the soldier but scale up the bosses' damage.
• Press 2 to build the tower of heal, it can not only block the soldier but also heal yourself, but it scale up the bosses' damage and health.
• Only the top-left soldier will build the tower, he is the leader of all soldiers
• Some specific form of soldiers will trigger the magic, use magics one by one in order to use combos, combos will do damage, heal, etc. Note that only when some soldiers is moved and some don't will trigger the magic(If all soldiers moved or none of soldiers moved(i.e. they all be blocked) will not trigger the magic)
• The boss will do damage and heal and other things in a specific order for each level.
